TC-Tool: lst2desc
This tool is designed for the [Total Commander's http://www.ghisler.com/] buttonbar.
It let you see long (win32-) and short(DOS-) filenames at the same time.
How to do this:
If filecomments via descript.ion are enabled (which is the default) you will now see the short filename as tooltip. If you need both at the same time you can choose the comment-view from the 'View'-menu or by pressing Ctrl-Shift-F2. The short name is shown instead of size/date
Warning: If you already made some filedescriptions (Ctrl-Z) backup them! This tool will overwrite an existing descript.ion in the currend directory!
